The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of banned rituals and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.

The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Changes

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Material

Players who finish the quest will receive an special katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
